GO ELECTRIC brings you the chance to experience the excitement of personal electric transportation. Not only are our bikes and scooters loads of fun, they are free of the cost and environmental effects of gasoline powered transportation. Enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of bicycle transport, without all (or any) of the sweat!
By the way, be prepared to meet lots of people who will want to know about your unique and cool set of wheels (kind of like having a Ferrari, less a few hundred thousand bucks!)
Whether for fun or transportation, electric bikes and scooters offer you loads of value and a good feeling that you are doing something about America's problems with energy, pollution, and traffic gridlock. We are looking forward to helping you GO ELECTRIC!
Our newest product line is SOLAR ENERGY products. Go Electric is working with our partner in Haiti, Ayiti Sole' to promote solar energy in both countries. In our Longwood store, we have a selection of solar electricity products--panels, inverters, charge controllers, etc-- to see and learn about and for sale for the do-it-yourselfer. We also plan to have solar panels producing power on our roof by the end of 2015.
Go Electric has a charging station for electric cars, bikes and other vehicles, as part of the Coulomb network. Our charge station costs $.95/hour to use. We are one of the only few in Seminole County and one of few small businesses in the region with a charging station.
. . . and something else you can't find anywhere else in central Florida, colorful artwork by artists from Haiti in our art department, Les Couleurs, with all proceeds donated to humanitarian organizations to help very disadvantaged people in Haiti. And . . . in case you missed our exhibition at the University of Central Florida library's art wall in the month of March 2008, you can still see most of the pieces in our gallery. Our art was also displayed at Orlando City Hall in early 2011 as part of an exhibition remembering the earthquake in Haiti.
